What an amazing year–especially the last few months. There has been so much magic and beauty in all we are doing and experiencing. Those of you who’ve attended the last few services most likely know what I’m referring to.
There are many reasons for most of this goodness that flows into our lives at Unity of Sedona. Some reasons are because of the intentions we’ve created and committed to since I arrived at Unity of Sedona. Intentions are important to setting the course for where we expect to go with our lives (including relationships and businesses) in the future.
One helpful intention is to remain clear of all forms of “excess baggage.” This involves remaining clear of regrets, unhealed wounds, and unfulfilled dreams and goals. Another intention to remain clear is to not carry “secrets” to our grave, nor into our future and/or relationships.
One of the things I’ve learned since being the Spiritual Leader at Unity of Sedona is that (for good or ill) people love to know everything about me and what they don’t know, they will make up. And instead of allowing this to be too unbearable, I just opted to be transparent. So everything I am, think, feel, do, etc…is out in the open. I completely share who I am and what goes on inside of me with all who attend Unity of Sedona AND in my writings (books and newsletters), as well as in my lectures and teachings. This way, people do not have to decide if they like me based on their unhealthy assumptions–although some people still tend to do so. Instead, they have the option of choosing based on the truth of who I am.
Try this…you might like it. Try being open, maybe beginning with your most trusted friends, and see if you can unveil everything about yourself. As one of our dear attendees shared, “We are only as sick as our secrets.” So try shining light on all your secrets instead of dragging the darkness into yet another year.
And when it comes to either setting intentions or dealing with dreams and goals, these too have to be addressed if we expect to manifest the best “new life” possible–wherein we experience the greatest relationships and abundance. So feel free to join us this weekend for a free mini-workshop on setting intentions. Love & Light,
