Divine Mother Garden

Garden shrine with statue and colorful plantsOur new landscape project dedicated to the Divine Mother, and Mother Mary, is complete. Located approximately 20 yards to the right of our front doors, now stands foliage consisting of a half dozen rose bushes, and a pair of jasmine‘s that are trellising up over a beautiful metal arch. In front of the arch is a cement bench where people are welcome to sit and pray or meditate. Running along the ground between the base of the cement bench, underneath the arch, and another few feet forward is a river-like carpet of blue tumbled glass. This bed of glass leads to a hand-made grotto of rock that is bejeweled with various stones, including rose quartz, green glass, azurite, citrine points, and crystal points. And within this beautiful grotto/cave is a lovely statue of Mother Mary, the Mother that births the Christ in us all, holding her hands together as she prays for our awakening. Statue of praying figure with flowers, brick backgroundShe is also seen, as mentioned by Saint John in the mystical Book of Revelation, as “a woman clothed in the sun, and the moon under her feet.” This symbolizes her ability to reflect the Presence of God to each of us every day, just as the moon reflects the light of the sun. Our statue also shows the Christ Child beneath the Mother and holding her up, which symbolizes that the Christ is the foundation beneath the Divine Mother. Attendees at the Global Center for Christ Consciousness are welcome to write prayers on the strips of ribbon that we supply in our sanctuary foyer and tie them to the metal arch in front of the grotto. Then, prayers and blessings of support will be sent to those who request it, by many people (including our own Chaplains). This sacred portion of our landscape and all its symbolism adds yet another beautiful element to our Center, and our vortex of Christ Consciousness. For this beautiful and sacred project, we extend our deepest thanks to our staff, Board Members, donors, and the craftsmen–all of whom were a part of this co-creation.

Come Visit Our Labyrinth

Labyrinths have been used by spiritual cultures for many thousands of years.  The sacred geometry of the labyrinth takes us through twists and turns, passing several times through four quadrants (symbolizing the four elements, the four directions and our four human facets) and eventually into the center (symbolizing the fifth element and our divinity), where we meet Spirit.  The path then leads us out into the world, thus bringing our renewed sense of self (our divine self) and inspiration out into the world.  Our labyrinth is exclusively for our attendees.
