Dear Friends:

During these next few weeks, we celebrate one of the Holiest of Holidays—Easter and springtime. It’s a time of celebrating the resurrection of new life—which is why Jesus chose this time of the year to be crucified, followed by his resurrection, and ascension.

So it would be wise for each of us to do a personal inventory and ask ourselves what would be appropriate to release and what it’s time to resurrect. It could be a friendship, a goal, a project, or even the resurrection of better health. What we choose to bring back to life is not as important as us actually “doing it.” So pray for Divine Guidance, then choose something to revive, and nurture it back to life—with thought, passion, intention, and possibly even the assistance and support of others. 

One thing that we are choosing to resurrect at our Spiritual Center is greater clarity about WHO we are. Even after 14 years, some people still don’t know. Are we a church? Are we a bookstore? Or are we a center that simply sponsors events—like the few other educational centers in town? The answer is that we are ALL of the above, and NONE of the above. And yet we are so much more, which can be quite confusing to human minds that insist on compartmentalizing and labeling things. When people can’t put us (you or our center) in a box, it makes them uneasy and uncertain, which leads to them either settling on an inaccurate label or they will just keep a slight distance. That’s just the egoic nature of people. But we are setting an intention now to break down these barriers—as much as possible. We encourage you to do the same, and feel free to assist us as well.

One of the most underestimated patterns of self-sabotage comes from those moments when we fail to commit to what we believe. Now is a great time to “get off the fence,” practice trusting God, and make moves/commitments forward. What this means for our center is that we will proudly continue being the Global Center for Christ Consciousness. But we will also make it clear about who we are and what we feature at our center. After all, we are the largest spiritually-based space rental in Sedona. So we want more people to know that—even though we will still be selective about who we rent to. If facilitators do not resonate with Christ Consciousness, they can continue renting space at one of the other centers in town. We are also the host for Sedona’s Monthly Psychic Fair, and again, we are ready to let more people know about that. And now we are so proud to be featuring more concerts and special events, so be ready for more of that.

Being more than a traditional “church,” creates an ambiguity that causes some people to not make the kinds of donations they would with a church. But we are a church (in the best sense of the word). We are a Sacred Center for spiritual growth and healing, so please allow your mind to accept this fact so that you may allow yourself to see our center as being worthy of your gifts and donations. We are also a center that sponsors events that always prove helpful to so many people. And we are a book and gift store. In other words, we are unique in that we offer a full spectrum of services and gifts. Simply stated, “We are all things to all people.” It’s time for us to own this to a new level. But what is it that you are ready to breathe life into to assist it in rising to a new level?
